California Employment Litigator Nima Darouian Joins Ballard Spahr in Los Angeles

Nima Darouian—an experienced California employment litigator with a strong track record in state and federal courts—has joined Ballard Spahr’s Litigation Department and Labor and Employment Group as Of Counsel, firm Chair Mark Stewart announced today. Mr. Darouian will be resident in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Mr. Darouian has represented a range of clients from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in employment-related lawsuits involving allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. He has managed more than 50 wage-and-hour class and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions.

In addition, Mr. Darouian advises clients on best practices regarding personnel policies and practices, including hiring, compensation, promotions, meal and rest breaks, arbitration agreements, job classifications, performance evaluations, corrective actions, leaves, and terminations. Mr. Darouian works with clients in a wide range of industries, including hospitality, transportation, and manufacturing.
