Beth Ann Lennon—an accomplished labor and employment law attorney with 15 years of experience—has joined Ballard Spahr’s Litigation Department and Labor and Employment Group as partner, firm Chair Peter Michaud announced today. Beth Ann is resident in the firm’s Denver and Portland offices.
“Beth Ann is exactly the kind of attorney we are looking for as we continue our strategic, sustained growth as a firm,” Peter said. “Labor and employment is an active area right now, particularly with the continued evolution of state laws, and our clients will welcome her arrival to our already-deep bench.”
Beth Ann divides her practice evenly between employment counseling and litigation, assisting her clients with all of the various employment law needs that they face. She regularly advises on policies and contracts, and provides guidance and representation in agency actions and litigation throughout the country. In her representation of clients in employment litigation, her matters often involve complex legal matters such as immunity, evidentiary issues, and unique legal questions for which there is no precedent. Beth Ann works with clients across industries, including sports, construction, hospitality, manufacturing, media, and technology.
As a member of the Labor and Employment Group, Beth Ann joins a coast-to-coast team of more than 50 attorneys. The group is regularly recognized in Chambers USA, Best Law Firms, and other leading publications and rankings. The attorneys are noted for their thought leadership, including the HR Law Watch blog and the Best Practices for Best Employers™ Labor and Employment Seminar, which has for over four decades been an indispensable resource for employers in the Pacific Northwest.
“It’s an exciting time to join the firm,” Beth Ann said. “Ballard is growing, and my practice and my clients will benefit from the resources of this incredible team. My new colleagues prioritize legal excellence and incomparable client service; I know this is the ideal fit for me.”
