
Beth McManus is an experienced labor and employment lawyer based in the firm’s New York and Philadelphia offices. She represents businesses and organizations nationwide—including global banks, consulting firms, major league sports teams, and health systems—who rely on her to lead complex employment litigation on sensitive topics involving race, gender, and age discrimination, as well as leave and accommodation matters. She has a wealth of experience litigating in both federal and state courts across the country and before administrative agencies. Ms. McManus also has conducted high-profile internal investigations, and counsels private and public employers on a wide range of labor and employment issues, including workplace policies, terminations, and layoffs.

- Served as lead defense counsel for international investment bank in Sarbanes-Oxley whistleblower retaliation litigation
- Represented an international consulting firm against pregnancy and family leave discrimination claims in both federal and state court
- Defended multi-plaintiff race discrimination and harassment claims through plaintiffs’ depositions and complex e-discovery

Beth has provided pro bono services, including drafting briefs in support of compassionate release for incarcerated persons during the COVID-19 pandemic and to assist in the name change process for transgendered individuals.
