Elizabeth Lilly is a Philadelphia Litigation associate who focuses her practice on securities enforcement litigation and other areas of complex commercial litigation. Elizabeth has experience in defense against mass tort claims rooted in personal injury and products liability, supporting multiple stages of litigation including the development of case strategy, factual investigations, drafting pleadings, motions practice, and discovery procedures. Elizabeth has significant experience in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, as well as experience litigating in other Pennsylvania state courts and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Elizabeth has also assisted with factual investigations and discovery responses in labor and employment cases, as well as assisting in antitrust litigation matters, with a focus on litigation related to dark patterns.

Elizabeth focuses her pro bono practice on supporting the rights of transgender individuals through legal name changes and supporting access to gender affirming care. She gained experience during law school as a legal intern for the AIDS Law Project of Pennsylvania, where she developed an initiative to provide legal name change services to transgender individuals in Philadelphia. She also served as the driving force in efforts to increase protections for transgender petitioners filing in Philadelphia County. Elizabeth represents adults and minors in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties in obtaining legal name changes and trains other attorneys taking on gender-affirming name change cases.
