Ballard Spahr has been named the Colorado Lawyers Committee (CLC) Law Firm of the Year, an award that recognizes significant pro bono contributions to CLC projects.

In 2022, attorneys and staff in Ballard Spahr’s Colorado offices donated a cumulative 535.5 hours of no-cost legal services to nine CLC projects. CLC is a 45-year-old nonprofit, non-partisan consortium of over 70 Colorado law firms dedicated to providing and increasing opportunities for children, low-income individuals, and other disadvantaged communities through pro bono legal advocacy, negotiation, and litigation. Last year, more than 930 volunteers contributed over 6,700 hours and $3.02 million worth of time to 29 projects and task forces.

Firmwide, Ballard Spahr contributes more than 50,000 hours each year to pro bono service, ensuring that clients have a voice and a legal advocate regardless of their ability to pay.
