Terry Weiner is an accomplished municipal attorney with more than three decades of legal experience in Washington State. After beginning his career in private practice in 1986, he transitioned into public service in 2000 when he joined the City of Vancouver, Washington, as an Assistant City Attorney—a role he held for nearly 13 years.
In 2013, he became the City Attorney for the City of Ellensburg, Washington, where he served for over a decade, representing the city in a wide range of legal matters and becoming a key legal advisor within the Central Washington community. He also served in an additional role as Assistant City Manager for his last several years with the city. His career reflects a deep commitment to public-sector law, municipal governance, and community-focused legal leadership
Terry has a wide variety of experience in almost all areas of municipal law, including contracts, ordinances, legislative processes, interlocal agreements, labor and employment, law enforcement practices, human resources policies, and risk management.
