Saumya Vaishampayan is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department, focusing on media and entertainment law. She has experience with matters relating to defamation law, copyright law, and access to public records.

During law school, Saumya was a member of the Rutgers Constitutional Rights Clinic, where she briefed and argued an appeal before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in June 2022.

Saumya reported on global financial markets for seven years before becoming a lawyer. She spent most of her career at The Wall Street Journal, based in New York and Hong Kong.
