Karli Talmo is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department who focuses her practice on labor and employment matters.

Karli represents public and private employers in federal and state court actions involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, restrictive covenants, wage and hour, and breach of contract claims. She also advises clients in matters involving discrimination, harassment, whistleblower complaints and retaliation, wage and hour issues, reductions in force, compliance issues, restrictive covenants, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other leave laws, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and related state laws. She has experience conducting internal workplace investigations and advises clients with respect to employment policies and guidelines including the review and development of codes of conduct, employee handbooks, and other internal policies.

Karli also has experience advising government entities, universities, and health care institutions on traditional labor issues, including union-organizing campaigns, unfair labor practices, and collective bargaining. She has experience handling interest arbitrations and grievance arbitrations, as well as representing employers before the National Labor Relations Board and Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board.
