Alex Park is an associate in Ballard Spahr’s Business and Transactions Department. He focuses his practice primarily on mergers and acquisitions and the representation of private and public companies and private equity funds. He has experience closing transactions in a number of industries, including sports, insurance brokerage, manufacturing, food distribution, professional services, and technology.
Alex regularly counsels clients in commercial transactions, particularly in the life sciences and technology industries, where he is able to utilize his experience as a registered patent attorney and trademark practitioner.
While in law school, Alex was a law clerk in the legal department of a Fortune 500 financial services company.

- Represented the Minnesota Timberwolves in sale of ownership interests owned by Taylor Corporation. The transaction closed with an enterprise valuation of $1.5 billion.
- Represented leading wireless products supplier TESSCO Technologies Inc. in its merger with two entities affiliated with Lee Equity Partners and Twin Point Capital—wireless industry equipment distributor Alliance Corporation and Internet of Things (IoT) cellular solutions distributor GetWireless, LLC—in a transaction valued $161.4 million.
- Represented Hub International Limited, a top 10 insurance broker globally, in numerous M&A transactions.
