Ballard Spahr's Ricardo Johnson, Alexander Park Named ACG-Minnesota Rising Stars

Ricardo E. Johnson III and Alexander S. Park, both Minneapolis-based associates in Ballard Spahr’s Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions Groups, have been named to the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG)’s Minnesota chapter’s list of Rising Stars.

ACG-Minnesota’s Rising Stars Program recognizes a broad cross-section of emerging deal professionals who show dedication to mergers and acquisitions work and an eagerness to expand and accelerate their professional networks. ACG also recognizes individuals across a wide range of other industries, including investment banking, growth operation, private equity, accounting and tax advising, sponsor coverage, commercial real estate, and insurance risk management.

Ricardo focuses his practice primarily on mergers and acquisitions and other general corporate matters, such as corporate governance, commercial contract review, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining the firm, Ricardo interned with the in-house counsel groups at Norwest Equity Partners and the Minnesota Vikings. Alex’s practice revolves largely around mergers and acquisitions and the representation of private and public companies and private equity funds. He has experience closing transactions in a number of industries, including sports, insurance brokerage, manufacturing, food distribution, professional services, and technology.
