
Russell Burke is both an experienced litigator and an experienced in-house litigation attorney. Russell leverages his experience from the private practice side and the in-house side to obtain the best outcome, in the timeframe desired, in the most cost-effective manner. Russell provides pre-litigation advice and counsel as well as investigations. He also litigates a wide array of cases such as resort, hospitality and timeshare litigation; class action litigation; commercial litigation; class action defense; and consumer financial services litigation.
Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Russell served as assistant general counsel at a $1 billion hospitality corporation, where he managed all commercial and complex litigation matters, including litigation and arbitration in class actions, consumer disputes, contract disputes, data privacy, financial services litigation, wrongful death, bankruptcy and employment litigation matters. This experience provided Russell with ample background in and knowledge of intricate timeshare litigation matters. He combines his firm and in-house experience to handle complex cases strategically and efficiently and deliver results for developers, hospitality companies, and lenders.
