Facundo Bouzat advises clients in complex civil matters through all stages of litigation. He has represented private and public clients in state and federal courts and in arbitral forums. His practice spans a variety of subject areas, including business and contract disputes, class actions, real estate litigation, securities law, data privacy, First Amendment, and other constitutional matters. He also draws on his appellate experience to represent clients in federal courts of appeals and Pennsylvania and California appellate courts.
Before joining Ballard Spahr, he served as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third and Sixth Circuits. He also was an attorney at a national civil rights nonprofit organization and at a law firm specializing in complex litigation. He is fluent in Spanish and has represented Spanish-speaking clients.

- Represented coalition of nonprofit organizations to file an amicus brief in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit addressing whether the group libel doctrine applies to statements about entire industries
- Represented national retailer in a Pennsylvania Superior Court appeal of a putative class action, successfully obtaining dismissal in the trial court
- Represented the state environmental agency in appeal to Pennsylvania Supreme Court addressing the constitutionality of a state carbon emissions regulation
