Ballard Spahr Advises Agentic AI Platform Mura on Combination With ServiceTrade

Attorneys from Ballard Spahr’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group advised Mura, the agentic AI platform that automates field service billing and collections, in its recent transaction with ServiceTrade, Inc., the leading AI-powered field service management platform for commercial fire protection and mechanical contractors.

The combination extends ServiceTrade’s Stella suite of AI agents—which plan, coordinate, and execute core tasks across the field service life cycle—through to cash collection, ServiceTrade said in a press release. The deal closed June 29.

Mura automates the entire post-job order-to-cash process with agentic AI, delivering faster cash, reduced headcount dependency, and measurable improvement in contractor profitability. The transaction makes ServiceTrade the first commercial service platform to apply AI across the full-service life cycle—from the first proposal to the last dollar collected, the company said.
