Nathan E. Seiler is the Managing Partner of Ballard Spahr's Boulder office, a Practice Leader of the Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Group, and a member of the firm's Expanded Board.

Nathan advises high-growth companies on corporate and securities transactions, including initial formation, venture capital and private equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, securities law disclosure and compliance, and general corporate counseling. He works with clients in a variety of industries, including software, biotechnology, medical device, information technology, telecommunications, natural and organic products, clean technologies, and renewable energy.

Representative Matters

  • Represented public and private companies in more than 75 M&A transactions ranging in size from less than $10 million to more than $1 billion, including mergers, tender offers, exchange offers and stock and asset sales
  • Represented emerging growth companies and venture capital and private equity investors in more than 200 financing transactions ranging in size from seed rounds of less than $1 million to late stage financings exceeding $100 million
  • Represented issuers and selling stockholders in public offerings totaling more than $500 million
  • Represent public companies in SEC compliance and reporting obligations
