Litigator Angela Pallozzi Joins Ballard Spahr in Baltimore

Angela Davis Pallozzi—a litigator and adviser with experience both as outside counsel and in-house at a diversified media company—has joined Ballard Spahr as of counsel in the firm’s Baltimore office, where she will be a member of the Litigation Department and Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group, firm Chair Peter Michaud announced today.

Angela brings a strong background in class action and other commercial litigation, legal counseling, and related business consultation—key areas that supplement the firm’s existing strength in commercial litigation and counseling. She joined the firm from Sinclair Broadcast Group, LLC, where she practiced for more than five years as director, senior legal counsel. Angela advised the Maryland-based company’s decision-makers on business transactions, negotiations, litigation, and daily business challenges across such areas as risk management, labor and employment, and insurance.

Prior to joining Sinclair, Angela practiced at Offit Kurman, P.A., in Baltimore, where she advised and represented a range of business clients on risk management and all aspects of business litigation—from contract disputes to negligence, fraud, and tort cases. She served as first- and second-chair trial counsel in complex commercial, class action, and multidistrict litigation matters.
