Ballard Spahr's Marcel Pratt Named to Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

Marcel S. Pratt, Managing Partner of Ballard Spahr’s Philadelphia office, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, the Chamber announced.
Mr. Pratt—who represents clients in high-stakes litigation and investigations—is among the new Board members for 2023-24. The Board helps shape the Chamber’s positions on critical issues and influences how the organization works to improve the business environment in the Greater Philadelphia region.
Mr. Pratt’s practice at Ballard Spahr focuses on commercial litigation, antitrust, products liability, and class action defense. As the former City Solicitor of Philadelphia, Mr. Pratt led the City’s 330-member Law Department, and he served as trustee and counsel for the Philadelphia Board of Pensions and Retirement, which managed more than $5 billion in assets.
The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia serves 11 counties in the tri-state Greater Philadelphia region, convening and connecting business, government, and civic leaders to drive economic growth and prosperity.
