Star Tribune Editorial Board: Shine More Light on Police Discipline

The Minnesota Coalition on Government Information and the ACLU of Minnesota are suing the City of Minneapolis, arguing that by classifying efforts to address police misconduct as "coaching," rather than "discipline," it is impermissibly sidestepping Minnesota's Government Data Practices Act and depriving the public of its right to know.
