Isabella Salomão Nascimento is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department with a focus on media and entertainment law. She also works on commercial litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, Isabella worked as a staff attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota, where she litigated cases on the First Amendment, government transparency and accountability, and public access to data. She has experience drafting and editing legal briefs, court orders, and published and unpublished judicial opinions.
During law school, Isabella served as a student attorney in both the Federal Criminal Justice Clinic, representing indigent defendants in their federal criminal cases, and the Civil Rights & Police Accountability Project, focusing on Section 1983 litigation, including representing through trial the family of an unarmed black teenager who was shot and killed by a white police officer in Zion, Illinois.
