Privacy & Data Security 2022 Preview
The privacy and data security world in 2022 is likely to be extremely complex for businesses. In addition to grappling with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, remote work, and ransomware, businesses must also comply with a growing array of state privacy laws. Financial institutions, in particular, will need to comply with new regulations governing data security and breach reporting as well as increased federal regulatory enforcement. New litigation trends, expanded digital rights legislation in the EU, and new guidance for machine learning tools are just a few of the issues likely to demand the attention of in-house attorneys and privacy professionals in the coming year.
Please join Ballard Privacy and Data Security Group partners Phil Yannella, Kim Phan, and Greg Szewczyk for a discussion of the key privacy and data security issues that are likely to dominate the headlines in 2022.
This program is open to Ballard Spahr clients and prospective clients. There is no cost to attend. This program is not eligible for CLE credits.
