Law Firms Expand Services to Payments Industry

When Payments Dive wrote about law firms expanding their services to the payments industry, the reporter referred to Ballard Spahr as one of the "law firms that were pioneers in the field" and made note of how it is expanding and deepening the services it provides. The firm created its Fintech and Payments Solutions team in 2018 and has remained a leader in the industry as it has changed and grown.

“Now, you have PayPal, you have Square, and you have all of these different Fintechs that are providing payment solutions, but there’s really been a whole industry separate from banks that has evolved,” said Ronald Vaske, who co-leads the team.
