Ballard Spahr's Hara Jacobs, Patents Team Shortlisted for Managing IP Awards

Hara K. Jacobs, who leads Ballard Spahr’s nationally recognized Trademarks and Copyrights Group, and the firm’s Patents team have been named to the shortlist for the 2023 Managing IP Awards.
Ms. Jacobs is one of five attorneys nominated for Litigator of the Year – Pennsylvania. She has more than 25 years of experience representing clients in all phases of trademark, trade dress, false advertising, copyright, trade secret, and right of publicity litigation, from initial counseling through trial and appeal. In 2021, Ms. Jacobs was shortlisted for Managing IP’s Litigation Practitioner of the Year – Pennsylvania Award and was named a Managing IP IP Star each year between 2019 and 2022.
Ballard Spahr’s Patents team, led by Brian C. Meadows, has been shortlisted for the Firm of the Year – Patent Prosecution (South) Award. The nearly 30 attorneys and patent agents of the Patents team provide industry-wide services in patent prosecution and patent portfolio development and management, as well as collaboration in patent aspects of transactions.
The winners will be announced April 27 in New York City.
