The Truth About False Advertising

Please join us for a two-part series focusing on false advertising litigation from both the competitor and consumer perspectives.

In our first program, the presenters, all experienced in false advertising litigation, will walk through the ins and outs of Lanham Act and related claims, consumer class actions, class action trends, and recent FTC warning letters.

Discussion topics will include:

• Lanham Act claims by competitors and other market participants
• False and misleading statements
• Consumer class actions under state laws
• FTC activity
• Practical considerations

Part two of the series will feature lawyers from our Intellectual Property group and focus on issues related to black market sales, and copyright and trademark infringement.

This program is pending approval for 1.0 CLE credits in CA, NY, & PA; and 1.2 NJ. Uniform Certificates of Attendance will be provided for the purpose of seeking credit in other jurisdictions.
