Hannah Welsh focuses her practice on securities enforcement litigation and other areas of complex commercial litigation and has represented clients in securities fraud and white collar investigations, shareholder and corporate governance disputes, and personal injury/product liability defense. She has experience throughout each stage of litigation, including case strategy and factual investigations, drafting pleadings, motions practice, depositions, discovery, and settlement/mediation. Hannah has litigated extensively in federal courts—including the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit—and has significant experience in Pennsylvania Courts of Common Pleas. Additionally, she has valuable experience with environmental litigation, breach of contract disputes, False Claims Act litigation, theft of trade secret litigation, injunctive and emergency relief proceedings, and patent infringement litigation.

  • Represents individuals in Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) investigations related to potential regulatory violations.

Professional Highlights

Pro Bono Experience

Hannah regularly volunteers with the Support Center for Child Advocates, representing children who have experienced abuse or neglect in Philadelphia County. Hannah has also successfully represented clients in various stages of immigration proceedings, including citizenship, asylum, and habeas corpus. In addition, Hannah has experience representing criminal appellants through the Second Circuit Criminal Justice Act program, and has advised individuals in landlord/tenant matters.
