Preston J. Spadaro focuses on consumer financial services. While attending law school, Preston interned at Ballard Spahr as a summer associate and a Consumer Financial Services Fellow, where his work focused on a variety of consumer financial services issues. Since joining the firm, Preston has been busy representing banks, servicers, auto finance companies, and commercial lenders in state and federal court. Preston is well-versed in the regulatory and statutory landscape affecting clients throughout the financial services industry, including requirements imposed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Billing Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Uniform Commercial Code, and Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Preston has also conducted extensive research to advise clients on a diverse array of regulatory matters including financial products, debt sales, and government investigations.
