Madhundra Sivakumar

Maddy Sivakumar is a lawyer who helps brands strategically enhance the value of their intellectual property. She is experienced at navigating through all phases of IP protection: prosecution and litigation; pre-litigation strategy and enforcement; and licensing and global portfolio management. She has litigated in federal and state courts, before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and in arbitration. Her clients are globally recognized companies across a wide range of industries, including bioplastics, hardware and software, fire suppression manufacturing, type design, voice recognition, clothing and footwear apparel, pharmaceuticals, and food and beverage production.

Prior to Ballard Spahr, Maddy was an IP associate at a prominent law firm in New York. Before entering private practice, Maddy worked at one of New York’s leading hospitals, where she conducted allergy and immunology research.
