Nicolette Shamsian is a litigator who focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, she worked at the San Francisco office of a Chambers-ranked law firm, where she advised retailers on brand-building issues such as labeling, pricing, marketing, and privacy to minimize exposure and risk. Nicolette drafted briefs for consumer class action litigation involving consumer fraud, deceptive pricing, false advertising, and federal and state privacy law in this role.
While attending law school, Nicolette gained additional experience as a research assistant at the Center for Middle East Development, as well as a summer associate for a Los Angeles law firm, where she later worked full-time and represented clients in intellectual property litigation.
