Alexander Risman is a member of Ballard Spahr’s Housing Finance Group. His experience includes advising on affordable housing, taxation, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Alex worked in private practice, where he represented private investment funds in formation issues, operational matters, and in transactions. His experience includes counseling on Opportunity Zone funds, investment tax credit funds, and private placements. He also represented developers in the development and construction of affordable housing projects utilizing Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program loans.
