Kristen J. C. Powell

Kristen Powell is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department who focuses her practice on commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Kristen worked at a Best Law Firms-ranked firm, where she collaborated as co-counsel on complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts, researched and developed case strategy, advised clients, and negotiated favorable outcomes. She also managed large-scale document production, prepared and examined witnesses, took depositions, and appeared in court on behalf of clients.

While attending law school, Kristen gained additional experience as a summer associate at a Chicago civil rights law firm and as a summer law clerk at a nonprofit environmental firm.
