Kelly McGlynn is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department, focusing her practice on commercial litigation and white collar defense and internal investigations. She has experience litigating complex commercial disputes, including shareholder disputes, breach of contract, and unfair trade practices claims, from the pre-litigation stage through trial, as well as litigating appeals of agency action in federal court. Kelly also has experience conducting internal investigations involving a wide range of issues including allegations of fraud, alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and theft of trade secrets. Kelly's practice also includes assisting clients in the health care sector navigate government and payor audits.
Kelly is also a member of Ballard Spahr's Education Industry Team. She has counseled clients in the education and related sectors on policies, procedures, and best practices necessary to promote the safety and protection of children, and has experience conducting comprehensive audits to identify opportunities for improvement in these policies and practices.
Kelly previously served as a 2020 Ballard Spahr Summer Associate and worked as a legal intern at the Delaware Riverkeeper Network. Outside of the office, Kelly is an active competitive sailor, is involved in leadership of regional and national sailing organizations, and has written on issues of gender equality in the sport.
