
Benjamin Mackenzie is an associate in the firm’s Finance Department, focusing on housing matters. He represents mortgage lenders in commercial real estate financing transactions, with emphasis on multifamily loans and mortgage-backed securities involving Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He has experience in acquisitions, refinancing, and mezzanine loans utilizing a variety of different financing structures, including FNMA Securities-backed loans, 1031-Exchange support, and other tax-exempt financing.
While in law school, Ben served as an administration office law clerk for the Executive Office of the President of the United States.
