
Mike is an associate in the Ballard Spahr's national Finance Department, focusing on real estate finance matters. He represents financial institutions on a wide array of commercial real estate lending matters including the acquisition, financing, refinancing, and disposition of multifamily, office, retail, student housing, and industrial properties. He leads teams on various types of transactions including fixed-rate, floating rate, mezzanine, and construction transactions.

- Represented a multinational independent investment bank in a $34.7 million note-on-note financing transaction on a multi-tenant industrial property.
- Represented a multinational independent investment bank in a $41 million term loan in multistate storage facility portfolio across Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio, and South Carolina.
- Represented a private real estate investment lender in portfolio transactions totaling $181 million involving the acquisition/refinance of single family rental homes spanning several states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Georgia.
