Katie focuses her practice on commercial finance, advising clients on a broad range of financial services matters, with particular experience in secured transactions and acquisition financing. She represents private equity firms, senior and mezzanine lenders, family offices, and borrowers throughout all phases of leveraged financings. Katie’s work includes asset-based lending, agricultural finance, project finance, syndicated loans, mezzanine and structured financings, as well as various other complex loan transactions.
Her industry experience spans most industries, including agriculture, consumer goods, food and beverage, professional services, manufacturing, technology, and utilities.

Borrower Representations
- Represented a semiconductor manufacturing company and its subsidiaries in refinancing a $350 million revolving credit facility.
- Represented a national retail chain and its subsidiaries in obtaining a $45 million asset-based term loan and amending its $350 million asset-based revolver.
- Represented a private equity firm in obtaining $24.5 million in its acquisition of a safety products company.
Professional Highlights
Pro Bono Experience
Katie maintains an active pro bono practice. Since 2017, she has dedicated more than 350 hours to helping individuals prepare tax returns through her work with Prepare + Prosper, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting low- and moderate-income individuals by providing free, high-quality tax preparation and financial services aimed at building financial health. She also provides pro bono legal assistance on immigration matters, including naturalization.
