Eric Kerkvliet has nearly two decades of experience representing investors, private equity syndicators, family offices, and business owners in corporate transactions and investment matters. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Eric provided outside general counsel services to closely held businesses, focusing on governance, compliance, and strategic growth.
Eric is the co-founder and owner of Alpine Companies, a group of affiliated property management and real estate investment entities, where he also served as general counsel. In this role, Eric oversaw compliance, licensing, and risk management; directed syndications of multiple private equity real estate funds; and led cross-entity strategic management, business development, and legal oversight.
