Jacquelyn Kapinos is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department who focuses her practice on real estate and construction litigation matters. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Jacquelyn worked at one of the largest law firms in Maryland, where she prepared litigation pleadings and motions, assessed insurance claims, prepared for and took depositions of opposing parties, and represented and advised clients in various matters.
Jacquelyn was a student attorney while attending law school. In this role, she provided legal counseling and training to clients on environmental regulatory processes, including the Maryland Public Service Commission’s CPCN process for electric utility projects. Jacquelyn also has experience as a law clerk and legal intern.
