Elizabeth James is a Litigation associate who focuses her practice on privacy and data security matters. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Libby worked at an Am Law 100 firm, where she guided high-stakes, multi-jurisdictional cases through complex litigation and coordinated all aspects of cases.

While attending law school, Libby gained additional experience as a summer associate for another firm, and became a business litigation associate there following her graduation. In this role, Libby handled a diverse range of litigation matters for Fortune 500 and mid-size companies, including antitrust, noncompete, trade secrets, consumer protection, breach of contract, privacy, and products liability cases.
