Thomas J. Gallagher IV practices complex commercial litigation with experience in breach of contract, fraud, business tort, consumer class action, bankruptcy, and legal malpractice disputes. He also is a member of the firm's Antitrust Group.

Within the firm, Tom has presented a seminar on the effective management of large document reviews.

  • Represented a major creditor in the City of Detroit’s Chapter 9 bankruptcy
  • Represents a brand-name pharmaceutical manufacturer in Lanham Act litigation brought against a competing generic manufacturer for alleged false advertising of a generic drug
  • Represents a payment card services company in a breach of license suit
  • Represents a large bank in defending a putative consumer class action asserting federal Truth in Lending Act (TILA), federal Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and RICO claims
  • Represents a real estate investment fund in defending multiple putative class actions asserting RICO claims arising out of its investments in certain real estate development projects
  • Represents a large bank in a professional malpractice case
