
Mary Grace Folwell’s varied background in affordable housing and community development gives her—and clients— invaluable perspective. In addition to working as a lawyer in private practice, her experience includes serving as counsel for a housing authority and general counsel for a national affordable housing property management company.
She has a deep understanding of affordable housing and community development, operations, compliance, and risk management, and the unique tax, regulatory, and governance issues that nonprofits face. Mary Grace was a lawyer at Ballard Spahr for 10 years before she gained in-house counsel experience and experience on nonprofit boards and then rejoined the firm.
