Jacob Dachs represents owners, developers, and investors in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, and leasing. He also has extensive experience serving as counsel for borrowers and lenders in the negotiation and execution of revolving and syndicated credit facilities as well as commercial mortgage loans and asset-backed finance.

In the asset management space, Jacob has advised investment managers on private fund structuring, fund formation (including the formation of JV and co-invest vehicles), and compliance with various regulatory requirements. Individual and institutional investors have also called upon Jacob for assistance with real estate, venture capital, private equity, and hedge fund investments, as well as the structuring of family offices and other wealth-management solutions.

Before joining the firm, a significant portion of Jacob's practice involved the representation of both buy- and sell-side institutions in negotiating derivatives, and other trading and credit agreements including prime brokerage agreements, securities lending and repurchase agreements, and ISDA master agreements. In that capacity, Jacob has advised on matters pertaining to the Dodd-Frank Act, the Commodity Exchange Act, the Investment Advisers Act, and general federal securities laws.
