Sasha Dudding is a Litigation associate who focuses her practice on media and entertainment law. She has experience representing clients in high-stakes litigation, including in court access, public records, and defamation cases, and in advising clients on newsgathering and pre-publication review.
Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Sasha worked at a Chambers-ranked global law firm, where she represented clients in a wide range of state and federal litigation and investigations. She gained additional experience through a two-year legal fellowship with the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press in Washington, D.C. There, she advocated for journalists in freedom-of-information, court access, libel, and First Amendment cases; counseled clients in newsgathering issues; and provided legal trainings and pre-publication review. During law school, Sasha was a member of the Yale Media Freedom and Information Access Clinic and interned at National Public Radio’s Office of the General Counsel.
