Jacqueline Brant is a Litigation associate who focuses her practice on commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, she worked at a Chambers-ranked law firm, where she prepared company and expert witnesses for deposition, argued discovery motions in court, and took depositions. In this role, she drafted a wide range of materials, including discovery and dispositive motions, affirmative and defensive written discovery, and mediation statements.
Prior to law school, Jacqueline gained additional experience through an internship and subsequent fellowship for Lawyers Without Borders in New Haven, Connecticut. In this role, Jacqueline built programming that provided practical rule-of-law training to prosecutors, judges, and law enforcement officers in Kenya, Tanzania, and Paraguay.
