Bridget Ansel is a litigation associate who focuses her practice on commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Bridget worked at a major international law firm, where she represented clients in a wide range of matters, including civil litigation, white collar defense, and government investigations. In this role, she served on trial teams in high-profile criminal matters involving federal market manipulation, securities fraud, conspiracy, and corruption charges. She also served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Georgette Castner in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
While attending law school, Bridget interned at the Taxpayer Protection Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. Prior to law school, she was a policy analyst at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, working on family economic security and labor policy. Her research was cited by policymakers and published in national media outlets.
