
Katherine focuses her commercial litigation practice on debt enforcement, financial restructuring, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights. She assists secured lenders, special servicers and commercial landlords in enforcing their rights against real property, in bankruptcy cases and through litigation. Katherine has a strong presence in Arizona and throughout the Southwest, although her practice extends to state and federal courts across the United States.
Katherine focuses on resolving complex commercial disputes through litigation and mediation, including resolving contract disputes, recovering distressed assets, enforcing guarantees and commercial lease agreements. Her bankruptcy experience includes representing businesses in preference actions, 363 asset sales, subchapter V cases, stay relief proceedings, the Chapter 11 plan confirmation process, rejection, assumption, and assignment of leases and executory contracts, as well as claim administration and recovery. Katherine’s experience spans many industries, including manufacturing, restaurant and hotel operations, technology, retail, and renewable energy.

- Represented various commercial landlords in the following bankruptcy cases: Claim Jumper Acquisition Company, LLC; Ruby Tuesday Inc.; Gold’s Gym International, Inc.
- Represented a secured lender in obtaining a receiver, conducting a trustee’s sale of real property and a U.C.C. sale of personal property collateral.
- Represented a secured lender in a Chapter 11 case, litigated the value of the real property and pursued maximum recovery through a Chapter 11 plan.
