Jessica Swanson Recognized in Minnesota Lawyer's Up & Coming Attorneys

Ballard Spahr Corporate Group Associate Jessica Swanson has been named as one of Minnesota Lawyer’s 2026 Up & Coming Attorneys.

The annual Up & Coming Attorney honors are reserved for Minnesota-based attorneys in their first 10 years of practice who are already leaving their mark on the profession through their exceptional legal acumen, dedication to client service, and community involvement.

This award is the latest professional honor for Jessica, who was previously recognized as a 2025 Rising Star by the Minnesota Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Jessica has a diverse mergers and acquisitions practice that spans private equity, strategic buy-side, and sell-side deals in a wide range of industries. She is dedicated to understanding each client’s risk tolerance and business goals to effectively achieve the optimal balance between speed and certainty that is essential for a successful transaction. She also advises businesses on legal issues encountered throughout their life cycles, including corporate structure and entity formation, corporate governance, contract negotiation, and other general business matters.
