Ballard Spahr Trademarks and Copyrights Group Leader Hara K. Jacobs and Intellectual Property Department Chair Lynn E. Rzonca have been named to the United States: Pennsylvania category of World Trademark Review’s WTR Global Leaders: Private Practice, a list of the foremost law firm and corporate trademark practitioners worldwide.

Hara has more than 25 years of experience representing clients in all phases of trademark, trade dress, false advertising, copyright, trade secret, and right of publicity litigation, from initial counseling through trial and appeal. She regularly appears in federal and state courts and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Lynn has more than three decades of experience litigating trademark, advertising, copyright, and patent cases. She counsels clients on how to best protect and increase the value of their intellectual property and protect their key brands. Lynn has prosecuted many trademark applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and handled cases before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Hara and Lynn’s recognition in WTR Global Leaders: Private Practice is the latest accolade for Ballard Spahr’s Intellectual Property Department. The WTR Global Leaders: Private Practice list is drawn from World Trademark Review’s WTR 1000 and WTR 300 research projects, which are created from interviews with hundreds of lawyers, attorneys, and clients, as well as written submissions.
