Portland Suspension of Fees Spurs Mixed-Use Development

Early signs are that Portland's decision to put a moratorium on development fees seems to be promoting some new interest in multifamily development.

That's one comment Ezra Hammer made in speaking with the Oregon Daily Journal of Commerce. Ezra, a member of Ballard Spahr's Mixed-Use, Condominium, and Multifamily Development team, said he hasn't seen any projects move to the definite stage yet, but has seen and heard signs of renewed interest.
