Ballard Spahr's Maria Groznik Named Pro Bono Publico Young Attorney of the Year by Utah State Bar

Maria Groznik, a Ballard Spahr litigation attorney, has been presented the 2026 Pro Bono Publico Young Attorney of the Year Award from the Utah State Bar in recognition of her significant contributions to the community and support of access to justice.

The Utah State Bar presented the statewide award to Maria at the Utah Bar’s Law Day event on May 1. The award recognizes Maria’s outstanding pro bono efforts, including assisting human trafficking survivors applying for economic redress of trafficking-related losses through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children attorney network and the U.S. Department of Justice remission fund.

Maria focuses her practice on commercial litigation and dispute resolution, emphasizing real estate, consumer financial services, intellectual property, and corporate cases.
