Ballard Spahr’s Antitrust and Competition Group has been named to the Elite category for Pennsylvania in the 2026 edition of Global Competition Review’s GCR 100, a listing of the world’s leading antitrust law firms and economic consultancies. This marks the second consecutive year that the team has earned Elite honors in Pennsylvania.
Ballard Spahr’s Antitrust and Competition attorneys handle both civil and criminal antitrust cases, from multidistrict litigation and class actions to investigations by federal and state officials. They also offer strategic guidance on circumventing class actions, securing antitrust clearances, reviewing compliance programs, and developing a cogent competition strategy that will hold up in court, at the negotiation table, or before an antitrust agency.
The team—led by Litigation Department Chair Jason A. Leckerman—has an extensive record of success in litigation and counseling, encompassing numerous high-stakes cases and matters for prominent companies. They are consistently recognized for their legal work by industry publications, including The Legal 500 and Chambers USA.
Global Competition Review’s ranking of firms is based on independent research conducted through an annual questionnaire and call for submissions, as well as interviews with lawyers. Further information regarding its methodology is available here (subscription may be required).
