Dr. Kenneth Sonnenfeld Named to IAM Global Leaders List of Patent Law Leaders for 5th Straight Year

Kenneth H. Sonnenfeld, Ph.D., a partner in Ballard Spahr’s Patents Group and Life Sciences Industry Team, has been named to IAM Global Leaders for 2026, his fifth consecutive year on the list of distinguished patent attorneys worldwide.

Ken, who holds a doctorate in pharmacology from Columbia University, has more than 35 years of experience as intellectual property (IP) counsel to biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry clients. Ken uses his technical background to advise clients—ranging from domestic startups to multinational corporations and research institutions—on the complex technical issues that arise in biotech and pharmaceutical patent and trade secret matters.
