Ballard Spahr's Kristen Broz Named Fellow of American Bar Foundation

Ballard Spahr Antitrust and Competition Partner Kristen W. Broz has been named a District of Columbia Fellow of the American Bar Foundation (ABF), an honorary membership that is limited to 1 percent of licensed attorneys. Those invited to become Fellows are attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession.
ABF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit research institute committed to the principle that a deep understanding of the law is vital to a more just, equitable world. It conducts research that explores the intersection of law and society and produces nonpartisan and actionable findings that people and institutions use to shape laws, inform policy, and influence society at large.
Kristen represents clients across the United States, in federal and state courts and before government agencies, with an emphasis on antitrust, consumer protection, and class action matters. Her clients span multiple industries, including technology, gaming, health care, construction, payment card, and real estate. Kristen routinely represents clients in DOJ, FTC, and state attorneys general investigations regarding antitrust and consumer protection issues and defends clients in administrative and federal court proceedings brought by government entities and private parties.
