February 27, 2024

Marcel S. Pratt, managing partner of Ballard Spahr’s Philadelphia office, has been named a 2024 Black Trailblazer by City & State Pennsylvania.

They are recognized in their respective fields for achievements, commitment, and impact on the state.

He serves numerous civic and professional organizations as an officer and board member, including the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, the William Penn Foundation, Project HOME, and the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. Mr. Pratt is the former City Solicitor of Philadelphia, a role in which he led the 330-member Law Department, which represents the City in all litigation, transactional, regulatory, and legislative matters.
